Discount Surgeon ‘Dr. Death’ Operated on British Woman Who Died After Botched Bum Lift

Dr Ali Uckan Boasts January Sale Despite British Patient’s Death in 2018

The controversial Turkish plastic surgeon, Dr Ali Uckan, who was at the center of a British patient’s death in 2018, is back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Despite the tragic history surrounding his procedures, Dr Uckan has taken to social media to promote a January sale at his clinic near Izmir in Turkey.

In a shocking turn of events, Dr Uckan has been boasting of his clinic’s services and sharing Trust Pilot reviews from patients who praise him as “kind-hearted and caring.” This comes just days after a young woman named Morgan Ribeiro tragically passed away after undergoing a weight loss procedure in Turkey.

Morgan’s family revealed that they were unaware of her planned operation until shortly before she was due to fly out. Her death has sparked calls for tighter regulation of the cosmetic surgery industry, with her mother, Erin Gibson, advocating for social media adverts for operations to include details about the risks involved, including deaths and injuries.

The tragic incident involving Morgan is just one of many cases of British citizens losing their lives after undergoing medical procedures in Turkey. At least 25 Britons have died following medical tourism trips to the country since January 2019.

Despite the mounting concerns and controversies, Dr Uckan continues to promote his clinic and services on social media, even using photos of British reality TV stars to attract clients. The surgeon has faced criticism in the past for his involvement in the death of British mum Leah Cambridge during a Brazilian bum lift surgery.

As the debate over cosmetic tourism and patient safety intensifies, Morgan’s family is calling for stricter regulations and mandatory cosmetic insurance to prevent further tragedies. The Mirror has reached out to Dr Uckan for comment on his recent social media activity, but as of now, he has not responded.
